Regional Australia is an integral component of the nation’s economic wealth and provides our country with half its export income and employs about one third of the workforce. Business therefore is very much the backbone of regional Australia and necessary to its growth.
Regional Australia depends on the growth and expansion of vital infrastructure. Farmers and regional enterprises rely on good water supplies, utilities, transport, telecommunications and soft infrastructure such as training , education and health services.
There must be greater Tax Incentives for Businesses to relocate into country areas and to provide greater job opportunities. When Business grows in regional Australia so too does the community.
High speed railway is needed to connect regional Australia with the main ports and to allow people greater access to major cities.
Australians should expect a national standard of living in both rural and city areas. Core essential services should be provided by the Government to serve all people alike regardless of their location.
