The Australian Business Party believes that our nation must maintain the capacity required by society, the economy and environment to satisfy the needs and living standards of our current and future populations without causing any long term detriment to our environment.
Industry must work at introducing measures that promote more efficient use of our energy, water and raw materials, whilst at the same time aim to reduce any wastage as a result of production.
Governments need to work with business to help develop ways of reducing environmental impacts through scientific studies and adequate programs geared at educating the business community.
As a nation we need to develop national standards in environmental policies that reflect common measures of environmental sustainability.
